Web Bluetooth BLE Explorer
Live Notifications
About this tool
A full GATT browser for any Bluetooth Low Energy peripheral — ESP32-based sensors, Arduino, health monitors (heart rate, thermometers), fitness trackers, and custom IoT nodes. Runs entirely in the browser using the Web Bluetooth API; no drivers, no native app, no server upload.
What you can do
- Explore all GATT services and characteristics on the device
- Read any readable characteristic — values decoded as hex, UTF-8, integers, or floats
- Subscribe to notifications (NOTIFY / INDICATE) — live values stream into the log and sparkline
- Write to writable characteristics — raw hex bytes or UTF-8 text
- Standard GATT UUIDs auto-labelled (battery, heart rate, temperature, device info, Nordic UART…)
ESP32 tips
- Flash your ESP32 with any BLE GATT server sketch — the Arduino
BLE2902descriptor enables notifications - The Nordic UART Service (NUS) is auto-detected; TX characteristic streams into the notification log
- Use custom 128-bit service UUIDs — the explorer lists all services regardless of UUID format
- Ensure your device is advertising before scanning; BLE devices stop advertising after pairing in many firmwares
Browser support
Web Bluetooth requires Chrome 56+ or Edge 79+ on desktop or Android. iOS Safari, Firefox, and desktop Safari do not support this API. The page shows a banner on unsupported browsers.
